Horizontal Blade plastic grinders Machine are the most common design available in the market. In a typical design there are 3 blades in rotor and 2 stationary blades. All blades require periodic sharpening. The stationary blades can be adjusted to maintain the close clearance with between the rotary and stationary blades. The models are available from 1 HP till 50 HP with typical application between 5-15 HP. The grinder chamber size goes on increasing as the HP increases. In 24" and bigger models usually set of 6" or 12" blades is used instead of one big 24" blade.
